The Planets

A Planet has two purposes.

The first is to build a network of people who come together naturally. This may be in relation to a shared skill, as in the Photographers Planet, a geographic location, as in the Singapore Planet, or affiliation to a common organization, as in the University of Lyon Planet.

The second is to facilitate the creation of Comets which will set up actions to meet the needs of Team for the Planet.

4 roles are needed to create a Planet

A role of Planet Leader: he is responsible for the execution of the two purposes of the Planet. He must make it a lively place and make it grow. He must encourage the creation of Comets.

A role of a representative of Team for the Planet, from amongst the Ambassadors or Keepers.

A role of Gluon: in charge of welcoming, matching needs and skills, and thanking Quarks for their actions.

A role of Memory Bank: in charge of transcribing the actions undertaken within the Planet.

To appear in Team for the Planet's Galaxy, a Planet must be created by a Planet Leader, a role requiring specific training.

A Planet is stable and is therefore supposed to be long-lasting.
